Join the Society

We like to think that the Society provides excellent value for money to its members and you can read more about who we are and what we doin our ‘New Members Leaflet’ by just clicking on this link: xxxxxx

We do of course need the funds to pursue our projects and activities and can really only survive on the back of the subscriptions from our members. We need to have a strong, supportive and active membership base and if you do join us, then you can rest assured you will be doing your bit to help safeguard the fabric and character of your community.

It is only £9 per annum for a single membership and £17 for a double one. Please join us by downloading the membership form, completing it, signing it and sending it, with your cheque to the address on the form. Your cheque should be payable to Addingham Civic Society. To make a direct payment from your bank you need to set up a payment to the Yorkshire bank with the following details:

Account name – Addingham Civic Society
Sort Code – 05-05-30
Account Number – 34995727

To ensure we are able to trace all payments it would be very helpful if you could include the following details in your payment reference, if your bank allows.

  • The first 3 letters of your surname followed by the last 3 characters of your postcode. For example – for John Jones of 61 High Street LS29 0XY the reference would be JON0XY
  • Alternatively just give your surname and postcode as reference and if there is a problem identifying you uniquely we will email you.

Please don’t forget, when completing our Membership Form to tick the ‘Gift Aid’ box and sign it where shown. It adds another 25% to your membership fee!

Once we receive your payment we will issue you with a membership card, which tells you about our social events and lists the names of the current Trustees.
