Yorkshire Heritage Summit 11th May 2024
This years Yorkshire Heritage Summit was held in the wonderful setting of Hull Minster.
Chris Cobley and Ian Cameron attended from the Heritage Group.
Good weather and a market outside helped ensure a great turnout, including to our display. One notable visitor was the Lord Major of Hull (and also Admiral of the Humber) who came to our display wearing his insignia of office, his long red robes and a large black tricorn hat complete with feathers! A symposium was held as part of the event, and we heard about how heritage is being used a springboard to rejuvenate Hull through multi-million pound investments by the public and private sector.
